Kindly note that items are built to specifications and upon order, we do not keep stock.

We do not offer refunds. No refunds for custom-built items (including wood, steel consoles, coffee tables, dining tables, or any furniture that has been built using wood, steel, and powder coated or painted for the customer) that have been cut to your requirements.

Because all our products are handmade, products may vary slightly in shape, size, color, and finish compared to the images listed on the website. No two pieces will ever be the same due to the handmade nature of our products. Any irregularities in our product should not be considered flaws. The Inner Circle products are made to order and custom-made, especially for you; therefore, no exchanges or returns will be permitted unless the goods are defective.

We will work to rectify any defects with your order.


There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a charge of 15 – 20% will be deducted from the total amount, a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10-15 working days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Lead Times and Shipping

Lead times are 4-8 weeks (excluding public holidays) usually unless otherwise stated.

This does not include shipping time.

We(The Inner Circle) are not a shipping or courier company, Shipping and delivery are handled by a separate and independent company and there may be delays or miscommunication regarding orders and items and we are not liable for such delays or any damages caused during transit by the courier company.



Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.



Exchanges can take place for orders that are canceled within 7 days.

The Inner Circle is not liable for any damages caused by the courier/delivery company. You will need to contact the delivery/courier agency if there is any damage caused to your item upon delivery and inspection.

We only replace items if they are defective. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@theinnercircle.co.za


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should email us and request a pick-up date and time.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Please note that it’s the client’s responsibility to ensure that all items are wrapped securely. Any damages occurring while the goods are in transit will be at the client’s cost.

All returns or exchanges will be subject to a 20% handling fee, payable by the customer.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Application Guidelines and Terms
• Any trade discount is not redeemable for cash. 
• Trade discounts cannot be used in conjunction with another Inner Circle discount, sale or promotional vouchers.
• In order to qualify for a trade discount, clients must complete the application form.
• Your business must be in or relate to the interior design, architectural, hospitality, corporate gifting, florist, gift shop, design or related industry. 
• Please note that Inner Circle reserves the right to deny any application.
• Clients will need to provide proof that they are indeed a business owner in the said industry by providing The Inner Circle with a copy of their company registration number, proof of identification and a link to company/business website where available.
• Please include the following information with the application form:
– A copy of personal identification 
– A copy of the company registration document
– Link to website or social media pages
– One (1) trade reference (please include company name, contact person and contact details
• The name and address of any order shipped, must match the name and address on the original application. 
• The Inner Circle Furniture DOES NOT offer credit facilities or credit accounts.
• Completed orders cannot be adjusted later. For late amendments, a new order must be created. All orders must be signed off and will be processed accordingly.
• Please note that The Inner Circle reserves the right to revoke trade discounts as/when deemed necessary.
• The discount will be reflected on the quote/draft order and invoice.
